Terms and Conditions

All our books are in excellent condition (unless otherwise stated). A number are in 'as new' or 'near mint' all have dustwrappers if they were issued with them (unless otherwise stated) and all items and as accurately described as possible. In many ways we tend to 'over describe' the conditions.
Abbreviations: wdj - without dust jacket; plt - pamphlet; ex lib - ex library; pbk - paperback; wep - without end paper
Most of the titles have their dustwrappers covered with a removable transparent film to protect them, especially true of the titles listed with frayed or damaged dustwrappers.

We love books and so hope that you will enjoy what we have to offer. Please note that with the best will in the world we cannot always keep these listings up to date, where possible we try to find duplicate copies - so if you don't see what you are after - please ask - we operate a free booksearch, and have hundreds more titles available than we can list.

We are based in the UK and prices are in pounds sterling. Prices quoted in this catalogue exclude postage.

Payment can be made by cheque or postal order.
If paying by foreign currency cheque, please add £8 to cover bank charges.
We also accept VISA, MasterCard & Maestro. Please contact us for details of how to pay by card. We do NOT accept American Express.

You are advised to check whether the book you require is in stock, and to reserve it, before sending any money.
Books can be reserved for a maximum of 7 days (excluding bank holidays).

Acceptance of an order is subject to availability. If we do not supply the goods, your cheque will be returned to you or your money refunded. However, we will not be responsible for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Books will normally be dispatched the following day.
